2nd semester E&E: [The 1st 2 week]

I came back to UPM rather early, as early as two weeks earlier before the semester starts.
I stayed at my beloved college and change room 3 times.. Mind you, my stuff is super lots!

At last, on Sunday, we change back to our own room.

But before that, I met my 1st ever friend, and I consider her like my own sister, Syafira. It has been almost 10 years though. We met occasionally in between but, not really meet and talk like we used to. Since she moved to Westport, and a lot of things had happen to her family, we rarely talk. We just keep in touch by phone, message, Facebook.. But to be honest, we seriously didn't talk for almost 10 years. When we met, it felt like is seems as it was yesterday that she left and move school. We're really close, we share childhood  memories...  She's my best friend. She's very pretty too. Taller than me. Haha

It was really memorable day when ya, ibu, kak yun, Apop and me met. A lot of things happen, people change, but one thing that doesn't change is that we are a family even though there's no blood connection between us.

1st week of university is not a joke. It was damn pack and busy for god sake! 1st day itself, I wake up pretty early, about 6am. Then get ready for the first class, that is Oral Interactive Skill. the class rather fun, I must say, as I really love to talk. This is the chance to brush up my english skills!

I was appointed as assistant of head class =.='' haha Whatever-lah..
The class was fun, the lecturer are nice too. Can't wait for the roleplaying! Been looking forward to it.

Next class is semiconductor devices. It is crucial for me to love this subject because it is related to micro-electronic. Been thinking of doing major doing micro-electronic.  ^^

OMG.. Super love these instruments~ :D

 Even in the 1st week itself, I can feel the pressure on my shoulder that I need to maintain my first class CGPA no matter what. So that we can break the previous record. Seriously? Yes I am.

1st day: Go eat dinner together with my nice colleague :)

 We got rather lot of homework though... Need to diligently finish it all!! On the first week too, I join MURoC, not as player though. I go there to observe. :D
After reaching back, I seriously feel like building a robot and enter the competition. Serious.
I got the passion, but do I have what it takes?

But it is a great experience. I'm gonna post it on my next post.

2nd semester E&E: [The Beginning]

I feel like blogging today. :)

Wah.. I'm so nervous about upcoming semester.

I'll be super busy on March, no doubt about that.

So many things had happened these days...

The time that I use from now on, need to be productive!

Starting the 1st week of the 2nd semester I'll be joining MURoC (Malaysian University Robotic Competition).

Not as the competitor, but taking care of booth of certain job task.

I'm in battery section.

I don't know why, but I'm the only 1st year that got chosen. :/

Anyway, I take it as an opportunity to learn. :)

So.. The competition is held in UNIMAP that will be in Perlis, about 8hr+ journey by bus like OMG..

During those long hours, what should I do?

Need to use all the time that I have to the fullest!

Then, we have an event organized by PEMAJU about Chinese New Year Celebration.

Its faculty level.

I'm in the committee, then again, busy.

Need to do video that I not yet even started.. Today start!

Not to mention I need to perform too. :O

Get paid though. haha

But then, I haven't decide what to sing!

Somehow I feel that my singing ability is deteriorate because of LACK OF PRACTICE. haha

After that, I'll be busy with Pesta Ang Pau... 

It is a university event.

Need to go rehearsal and so forth.

But that will be the end of March.

Then.. I got invitation to do performance for Pesta Silang Budaya (I think?)

This is a college event.

Dunno when exactly.

I hope I'll not get exploded!

I organized my stuff and events, to-do list, important stuff in my diary book :)

I'm pretty forgetful, so writing it down helps a lot!

First and foremost, I already registered my 2nd semester subject!

Yay!

I take Mandarin this year :)

Gonna push myself to learn this VERY important language.

Why?

Because I look like Chinese. >.<

..and I want talk to my grandma in Chinese :)

I drop Japanese and will take it next year because my credit hour exceeded and also because I feel that on this upcoming 2nd semester, I will be super busy.

Anyway, Japanese should be easy for me. Can easily make my CGPA higher. Hopefully.

Looking forward to learn new things!

Gonna get my goal straight.

Secondly.. I'm so grateful that I get kinda good CGPA for this semester.

2012 Chinese New Year

I know its a bit late for Chinese New Year update huh?
Anyway... my family Chinese New Year celebration is always a festive event.
I'm glad that my grandma looks healthy and happy.
Love seeing her smile. :)

So, right after Kak Yun's engagement, I went back to Penang Island visiting my grandma.

My favourite food during Chinese New Year is this:

Lai Chi Kang :) I love the nuts.

Then, my brother, my sister-in-law, Sofea, Ashraf and me go to this Arab cuisine, Tarbush Restaurant at Batu Ferringhi .
My brother wanted to try new kind of food.

This is Sofea's fish and chips. It is double fish chips I must say. Gosh the portion is huge..

My chocolate ice blended. Super nice!

My brother ordered briyani and it tasted great. Nyum!

This is mine. I forgot what's the name, but it is some sort of chicken kebabs with special dipping sauce. Nice.

On the 2nd day of Chinese New Year we have a lot of relatives coming and we eat together.
This is what I wear on the 2nd day. :D

We have nasi lemak every year for Chinese new year and my mother make muruku too. Its fusion festive food!

Of course steam boat too~

We definitely drop by at Penang Road every year without fail to buy some  nutmeg , etc.
I love Tambun biscuit. :)

The auntie is very skillful cutting the dough and mix it with nuts.

This is Muar Chee.. I think it is similar to mochi in Japanese.. But different texture .

Penang & Kak Yun's engagement

I'm getting lazy these days.. haha.
Anyway, I guess I need to post something so that my blog doesn't look like its getting 'expired'. XP lol

I'm going to share my experience in Penang with my lovely Kak Yun's (or Sya) engagement. :)

 Because of certain problem on transport, Kak Yun decided to buy me an Air Asia flight ticket to Penang.
To tell you honestly, I never take Air Asia and never went to LCCT before. So it is my 1st time.
Kinda nervous about it.

Totally different than MAS...

Because it is my 1st time taking Air Asia, I have no idea how the seating is. >.<
and ended up sitting at the wrong seat. Haha
Not to mention taking the wrong entrance door.. lol
I eventually realized my mistake and sit at the right place. (>.<'')

When I reach Penang, I'm confused about whether I'm in island or mainland. haha
I just follow a people in front of me (Japanese I think) and exit the airport.

Among 152 songs submitted from 31 country, I'm among 39 people who had been selected  to be voted by more than 4000 votes.
 I feel that a lot of contestent is so talented and better than me, of course.
I guess I am not popular enough to get a lot of votes :P

Wah... I m so nervous waiting for the result... Listening to NHK Radio Japan online patiently and nervously.

I don't deserve to win because the effort that I put is lesser than those who participated.

OMG, they have such a wonderful voice!!!

Saira Hosen Mo got a lot of votes! From Bangladesh. Cute voice she have. Wow. She got more than half of the 4000 votes! Cute and talented.
